The burning of an empire
Sin and corruption fuelled its fires
Punishment for their heresies
Now the waves rise up from the sea

It was foretold that death would reign from the sky
But nothing would prepare them for the way that they died
Volcanoes erupted as hell merged with earth
The planet's fury had completed its scourge

Grand palaces crumbled
The tallest of towers were tumbled
All traces of the living were swept out of sight
This planet destroyed a civilisation overnight

Remembering that we can not enslave her
